Dear ladies, I am delighted to share our news with you that we are expecting our fourth child in early May. So far, I’m just a bit queasey (more and worse to come, if past pregnancies are any indication), and I’ve already started to gain weight (also normal for me–I get REALLY big).

You may be surprised that I’m announcing this so early. Why not wait until the chance of miscarriage is much lower? Well, I’ve always figured that I’d rather have people praying for me even if it means I have to tell them I lost the baby. (Anyway, if I did loose a baby, I’d probably want to blog about it!) If you get a chance today, please pray for our little one to develop normally, and most of all, to grow up to love and serve the Lord.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17

Wow!! Fourth baby?!! That’s great. Now give us the lineup of the kids and their ages. (you can make up names for the kids). We’ll be praying for you.

Sorry you are queasy. I get that way too with babies. No wonder you were spazzing out over the toy storage! Life was getting out of control and you wanted it all in control before you announced the new baby. If it’s any consolation, I did even START to get organized until I was expecting my 4th. So, you’re bucket-loads ahead of me!! Did I tell you I’m turning 40 in a few months? Maybe you’ll be over this queasy thing by January and you can come for a great big Renaissance feast in Rockford. I’m having a HUGE party (for myself, no less) when I turn 40. I’m hoping to have everyone dress in Renaissance costumes and reach out to my many unsaved friends and such.

More later. Have I mentioned? Congratulations.

    O.M.,

Let’s see, “Princess Brown Eyes” is 4 1/2. “The Man” is almost 3. (I’m calling him that because the other day he said, “I’m the man, Princess Brown Eyes, the big man, and I take care of you.”) And “Little Miss Sunshine” just turned 1.

Your party sounds really fun. Wow! That would be so cool if we could go. At this point, it’s definitely still in the dream stage, but my husband did ask what state you live in.

  9. Organizing Mommy Says:

Tell him “the state of confusion!” and that would not be a lie. Actually, this is public: Rockford, IL, 2 hours west of Chicago. We go to an assembly called: Believers Bible Chapel. I think it is like the Washtena group you are in. We do not have a hired pastor. We have elders and Will is not one of them, but he does some teaching.

Anyway, food for thought. or prayer
