Over the years, I’ve read a LOT on the Internet about mothering: blog posts, articles, some by professionals, some by Titus 2 women. And every now and then, there would be something that triggered a huge Ah, Ha!, something “mind blasting,” to quote my husband. Today, I’d like to share a few of those links with you, and I’d love to know what your all time favorite, most life changing links are, too.

Woman to Woman
An eye-opening look at where we get our advice on how to be a mother. I don’t totally agree with the full scope of her conclusions, but her basic points are well worth considering.

Raising Godly Tomatoes
This is a GREAT book, and you can read the whole thing online as well as enjoy a few “extras” here at the website.
Changing the Heart of a Rebel
This is a VERY convicting piece and one that I keep coming back to as I consider my philosophy of homeschooling.
Family Size
It’s the Demography, Stupid
Here’s one I just couldn’t help but throw in. It totally changed the way I viewed demographics and all the hype about overpopulation. And it’s just so well written. You’ll laugh. You’ll tremble at the state of Western Civilization. You’ll think about having another baby.

I LOVE the book \Raising Godly Tomatoes\! I happened upon it when I was struggling with second child’s early toddlerhood. I kept thinking \my first never did this!\ Well, I just had my fourth child and life is so much more peaceful having implemented the strategies and philosophies discussed in RGT.
Thanks for the mothering infants links. It was a nice refresher and reminder since I currently have a two-week-old. I’m still working my way through the other articles.

Here’s a couple that I thought of right off:
Before we were married, my husband and I stumbled across this essay on the Duties of Husbands and Wives. We’ve become so enamored with John Dod that we’ve printed several of his books off the microcard.
About the same time, we heard an online sermon/lecture by RC Sproul Sr. about headcoverings that changed our lives. I couldn’t find it today when I searched, but I think I’m preaching to the choir on that one, anyway!!

I agree that “Unto the Least of These” and “Woman to Woman” are must-reads for all moms.
