I wanted to quickly check in and let everyone know that our new little daughter was born at home Sunday night at 8:59 (six days early, grin). She weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces, and was just under 21 inches long. I hope to post her birth story soon. (Well, “soon” by postpartum standards may not be exactly “soon,” but I’ll do my best.)

I CAN NOT believe it!! I am sooooooooooooo excited!! Early even. Praise the Lord. I take it the home birth went well and there was no complications! You have FOUR children! I know you don’t like to post pictures, but can I please have an email pic. when you send out general pics to your people. A girl. A real girl! Oh, i can hardly wait for the name and all!!!

Wonderful! I had wondered when you were silent over the weekend if things were happening – I do pray for your new one, and the rest of the family.
