I don't think that I would be a very good adoptive parent, but we feel a burden for those children who need homes. I have learned through having our biological children, that even though I didn't have the characteristics to be a godly mother (I'm not super patient or selfless or even kind) God still called me to this and has enabled me to fulfill that calling. So in the same way, even though I feel quite inadequate, if this is the path that God has laid out for us then He will give me the grace, patience, selflessness and kindness that I need.
